Last week we went sledding with the Nielsens, Stoddards and Pittenbargers. It was Chase and Destiny's first time sledding which was the best part (they are from Las Vegas). They showed up in Levis, rain boots and tennis shoes. They were such great sports!

Jump Sky High

For play group we went to Jump Sky High. They have trampolines all over! The kids were all tuckered out afterwards!

They also have dodge ball tournaments which would be quite the workout!

This is a foam pit at the end of two tramps you jump into.

Gymnastics

Indie started a gymnastics class with her friends Scarlet and HelenAnn. It is so adorable. The first day they had different stations that were part of a "pet shop". They crawled like turtles, snakes and other animals. They went through dog houses and splashed into fish bowls. On the tramp they did different jumps to put on their "animal clothes". They put on shoes, shirts, hats and dresses. On the bars they were at the "grocery store". They were doing banana splits, catching cookies and throwing fruits and vegetables with their feet into the basket. It is a SUPER CUTE class and Indie loves it!

Indie traded in her sippy cups for this bike two days ago... I know a little extreme but for Indie this was a BIG deal. She was drinking a ridiculous amount of milk and was very demanding about it so we finally had enough! She hasn't cried once for them and is actually eating... :)

We are so proud of her.

Christmas

On Christmas Eve we went to dinner with my family and slept over at Archie's parents.

If only Santa remembered from last year that Indie would be happy with just candy!

Indie got a leapster... She hardly ever plays it because Arch gave me an ipad for Christmas and she has pretty much taken it over.

For some reason the one thing Indie kept saying she wanted for Christmas was Princess and Guys. They were the princesses in their wedding dresses and their princes.

Since Indie travels to Salt Lake so much Santa brought her an airplane and all the accessories for it.

Indie got Ninja Turtles from Grandpa Alex and Grandma Suzanne.

Grandma Linda and Grandpa Phil gave the kids one four wheeler and two electric scooters to share.

Lynlee is Indie's cousin who is a year older and is so petite... but she was an animal on the four wheeler!

Every Christmas my Mom takes each grandchild to shop for their parents at Target. They get to pick whatever they want (within a certain price range). Indie chose this nightgown that has the States all over it. I'm not sure why she thought of me when she saw this :)

For my Mom's side of the family Christmas party they did a really cute nativity scene. Out of all of the costumes Indie wanted to be a donkey... There were only camel costumes but she was convinced hers was a donkey!

This year we had our Christmas party at Kortney's house. We usually all bring a white elephant but this year Kort had a really fun idea. We all brought five of our favorite things. We put our name in a bucket five times. When it was your turn you would get up and tell what you brought and why it was your favorite thing and then you would pick five names out of the bucket and those people would get your gift. The five presents that I received were a four sided nail buffer, thank you cards, a running headband, a Starbucks gift card and Suave dry shampoo which is pretty awesome. Everyone brought such different and creative things. It was a lot of fun!

My parents took all of us on the Heber Creeper Polar Express Train Ride. It was really adorable and the kids loved it! My Mom bought these adorable hooded blankets to keep all of the kids warm.

We went to the Zoo Lights with Teisa and her girls. This was the first year that we have gone and it was a lot of fun. Santa and his reindeer were there and they had crafts for the kids.

Every year all of the girls from my Mom's side go to the restaurant Rainbow Gardens. They have great food and great shopping.

In Sugarhouse they have a live nativity scene every year. The past two years we have gone with the Barneys/Enghs. It is really neat and I would recommend it for anyone who wants to go next year.

Gibbons Christmas Party

Please help! How do I get pictures arranged in the right order on an iPad?

Two days after we arrived in Salt Lake we went to the annual Gibbons Christmas party. This year we decorated Santa hats and Santa came like he does every year. Every year Santa pulls a present out of his bag with a name on it (including adults) they sit on his lap and gets a wrapped present and a treat. Indie sat so patiently waiting for her name to be called. Every time someone would get their present and candy she would become a little more impatient. Finally Santa called another name and Indie went up all by herself and sat on his lap. They had to dig her present out of the bag. She is not afraid of him at all.

When Santa went to leave Indie gave him a hug good bye.

My poor niece Vallyn broke her nose on the playground the day before the party. She agreed to come if she could hold a towel over her face. This was a home made mask from the party that she wouldn't wear so Gina did!

Meeting Kyana

This is my first time attempting to blog on an iPad... I haven't figured out how to label each picture or arrange them in the right order. I can use all the help and advice I can get :)
We were finally able to meet Indies newest cousin Kyana, who was born 6 days after we went back to Spokane this summer. Indie loves holding her!
Indie and Lynlee loved helping Grandma Linda decorate her tree. Indie thought her alfies would be a great finishing touch. You could see where the ladder was because there were big clumps of ornaments.

What we've been up to!

Lately Archie has a shadow and a new best friend... him and Indie have been watching the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the actual movies not the cartoons). They have been fighting and kicking Shredders butt! She is Michelangelo (orange) Archie is Raphael (red) I am Leonardo (blue) and Dexter is Donatello (purple). In the mornings she will wake up and tell Archie to fight the bad guys with her. He can't study at home anymore because she just wants to play with him. It is pretty cute.

While Grandma Linda was here she bought Indie some new dress up clothes. The Ninja Turtle was a big hit.

Indie is also into the Lion King. She likes to hide her Scar toy because he is mean and scary.

Indie lined all of her Lion King toys this way before she fell asleep.

HelenAnn and Indie see each other so much they are like sisters... they play like sisters and they fight like sisters :)

On Tuesdays we have been going to story time at the library and then brunch after at one of our homes.

We went to a Halloween party with our Gonzaga play group at Danielle's house.

Grandma Linda Comes to Visit :)

Yay! We love when Grandma comes to visit! This visit was much needed because this was longest we had gone with out seeing each other since we moved to Spokane.

First Grandma took Indie to Build A Bear. Indie picked out a German Shepherd mom and baby and dressed them like Sleeping Beauty.

She loved bathing and brushing them... but most of all she loved walking them.

Afterwards Indie got her first pedicure. She might not get another one for awhile... it is definitely more relaxing without her. She splashed the poor lady in the face a couple times.

Lions Train Ride

Sam and Jeremiah invited us to go on this awesome train ride in Ione, WA. All of the October tickets sold out really fast because it is the perfect time of the year to go. The leaves were beautiful and all of the kids were able to wear their Halloween costumes which was a lot of fun.

Last weekend Archie and I went on our very FIRST date without Indie since we moved to Spokane one year ago. It was so much fun.

First we went to Vin Rouge for dinner and headed over to a bowling alley named Hugos. It was a really fancy bowling alley. It also had real poker tables which you would never find in Utah.

Afterwards we walked over to Petco and bought Indie a red fish which she named Ariel.

Green Bluff

Last weekend we went to Green Bluff. We started with a pony ride for Indie which she LOVED. Her pony's name was Mary Legs.

While we were in line getting some of the famous pumpkin doughnuts we ran into the Nielsens. Indie was happy to have Scarlet there to play with.

Summer Salt Lake Trip

This summer we went to Salt Lake for 3 weeks. It was so nice to be home!

My parents started the 1st "Gibbons Annual Sleepover". They set up a tent in the backyard. My Mom and I slept with the all of the kids except Vallyn who wanted to sleep inside.

Last Day of Swimming Lessons

Indie had her last day of swimming lessons. This was her second round of swimming lessons this summer, and the teacher she had was great! She did a lot of really cute songs, and Indie got hyped every time. Since this was the last day they had a play day instead of a lesson. I wish I would have taken pictures during one of the actual lessons because she was SO silly. I think her teacher got a kick out of her because she was fearless. Her teacher said that she can graduate from the parent/tot class to the older class because she is so comfortable in the water.

Indie went to her second dentist appointment today. Last time she had to sit on my lap and would barely open her mouth. This time she sat all by herself (with baby Stella :) They had her put on these cool sun glasses for the bright light and counted her teeth. She has them all and I didn't even realize it. She did so great!

The Hoggans Come to Visit

Grandma Suzanne, Grandpa Alex and Walter came to visit and stayed with us for 10 days. The last time they all came to visit was last November and we were snowed in the entire time. Luckily this time it was warm and we were able to get out a lot.

The first night they were here we went to Manito Park for one of their Friday night concerts. Ours friends Emily, Dan and their dog Finn joined us.

Indie was in popsicle heaven while they were here.

This is a crappy picture but shows what she did every night... she jumped and danced around on their air mattress.

We went swimming.

Alex was a really good sport about playing kitchen and babies with Indie.

We went to Riverfront Park and rode the Spokane Falls gondola ride.

Indie has been taking her babies everywhere. Here she is feeding one at the restaurant we went to.

Indie loved throwing money into the water.

Walt Arch and Indie got into the water after the boat ride. It was chilly so they didn't last long.

There was a lot of tennis played and singing and dancing to the Sound of Music (Suzanne, Alex and Indie :)

4th of July

For the 4th of July we all started out at Indie's swimming lessons. Since I get in with her everyday and wanted some pictures I let Archie today.

Every day they get to pick a toy. She picks either the funnel or the elephant watering can.

At night we went to Riverfront Park. Indie fell asleep in the car and stayed asleep until she heard the word snow cone!

It was REALLY crowded!

We ate dinner at Shenanigans on the side of the river.

It was so yummy Alex licked his plate clean!

Indie Got Her Ears Pierced!

Indie has been talking about getting her ears pierced. I kept telling her that it will hurt a little but she kept saying she wanted to do it... so today Suzanne and I took her to get them pierced. She fell asleep on the car ride there so I thought she would wake up and not want to do it. We took her in half asleep and she picked out what she wanted and was all ready. She got them pierced at the same time... her lip quivered for one second and then she looked at me and said "No Hurt". She didn't cry and hasn't complained about them hurting her.
